Thanks Kate for your assistance in reviewing the presentation that I recently had to deliver to an audience in USA via video link.
I took on board your advice and it helped me immensly on my delivery technique and subject matter.
I have met with Kate a few times recently to discuss how she can help grow my business, Kate invited me to attend a LinkedIn training event which I have to say was one of the best trainings I have attended, it was packed full with useful information. This just shows her ability to listen to what people want and match them with the right training programs and support to help grow their business.
Having attended several Mastermind sessions the value is in discussing your ideas and getting feedback from other business people, listening to their opinion on your ideas and taking further ideas/adjustments forward as a result.
Business brick walls can often can be knocked down or at least a few bricks removed when a problem is shared and possible solutions offered.
The Mastermind Groups are practical not theoretical!
I first met Kate on a course for Start Up's in the Broadland area; I will say my first impression was ‘this is a lady not to be messed about with.' She knew her stuff she also has great intuition and understanding, and she also listened to me. I have met other Business Coaches and thought what a waste of time because they did not listen, they just wanted to impose their ideas, Kate is different. So when our business www.getfitstayfitnorfolk.co.uk needed help and advice for business growth, to me, she was the only choice, and my husband agreed. We know we can work with Kate she has become not only our Business Adviser but a friend we can confide in. She understands us; she care's about our business and the best thing is that we know we can trust her.
She also is still not a lady to be messed with.
I recently attended the Engage with Business People Management Skills workshop which was a great help to me. I have been running my own business for 11 years and have to say the part I loathe is the Management of Staff! Up until now I have always found training either to be cracking a walnut with a sledgehammer in both content and cost and just generally been put off. I was very lucky on the day as there were only 4 of us which made it very personal and allowed us to ask lots of questions which Kate was only too happy to answer. I found Kate really easy to speak to, very calm and very helpful. She is methodical and clearly very used to teaching us more “basic” business owners on our level! Since her workshop I have felt more confident in managing the staff. Susan Whymark, Eye, Suffolk
Whether you are a new or growing business , Kate's Workshops educate , inform and reinforce what you need to know with a very practical and pragmatic approach to business and your people.
The workshops include solutions and discuss "real life" business issues -not just the "theory" - although some very interesting theories are brought forward for your consideration.
You wont feel told how to run your business - but empowered to do so.
I have just experienced the most amazing time on Kate Wilde’s Leadership course. The content and pace of the workshop was perfect for generating some really brilliant and thought provoking conversations amongst the talented business leaders that were in the room. I left at the end of the day having learnt so much and looking forward to putting it into practice immediately.
We have now used Engage with Business to carry out two staff audits. We found both exercises to be extremely useful. The interviews are totally confidential giving the staff the confidence to speak openly. The Report provides an invaluable tool providing insight into our staff’s thoughts and raising awareness of any areas for concern. I would have no hesitation in recommending Engage with Business to undertake staff audits and as a Company I believe that the feedback received has allowed us to provide a better workplace leading to happier staff and increase in productivity with very little cost to the Company. We will be commissioning more staff audits in the future.

I attended manage money make money and found the course very interesting and a good use of my time and money. It wasn't just about understanding my tax return it was much more than. Most new business owners probably just look at bottom line to see if we made money or lost money. But after this course I can look at the balance sheet and understand what is making the most money and concentrate on that area of the business. It has given me a much better understanding of how to price my work, by taking everything into account such as overheads and what they are. How to produce a cash flow forecast with all your monthly expenditure this was extremely useful I was amazed at how many things that go into cash flow.
The course shows you different ways of producing your accounts such as pie charts and bar charts these can be very useful for a quick visual aid to see how the company is performing.
I only have a very small business but I want it to grow, this course has shown me how to grow my business by understanding the finances better, so if your is company is growing or you want it to grow this course is a must it will enable you to keep a good handle on your finances.
I recently attended Kate’s People Management Skills workshop. I have been to many training sessions which are delivered in a “death by power point” manner. Kate’s workshop, however, was not like this at all. The timing and pace of the workshop was excellent. Kate has a wealth of knowledge and expertise which she shared with us in an informative and interactive way.
Kate listened and understood the group’s difficulties in relation to managing our respective teams and was able to offer sound advice and practical solutions which we could take back to the work place, and adopt, to help us become better managers and team leaders. I will most certainly put Kate’s suggestions from the day into practice.
It was evident throughout the workshop that Kate is very committed and passionate about helping businesses grow, and managers thrive.
I would happily recommend Kate to any business owners or managers who are new to managing a team, or who would like to gain more confidence in their management skills.

I attended people management skills training and found the course very worthy of my time and money. I attended the course with a lot of unanswered questions about how to manage people and left with a lot of answers which has now filled a big gap in my knowledge and given me some great advice to help me in everyday situations. I have no hesitations in recommending the course to anyone in business.

From the very first interviews you gave me the empowerment and confidence to go ahead and start my business. I had the idea but not the know how and it's been from the very first meeting right through to the present day. My business has gone from strength to strength and I've never looked back on my employed days. The only thing is with success comes it's challenges. It's a big learning curve but I'm enjoying the ride.

Most unexpectedly we came across the ‘Growth Accelerator’ scheme and before we knew it, Kate was arriving to help us review our business. After a couple of meetings she was able to analyse the areas which needed to be reviewed. From her wealth of business contacts, she put us in contact with three consultants who gave us advice, direction and encouragement. Kate herself listened well, analysed the business, encouraged us to explore both old and new ideas and gave some invaluable advice, particularly on our marketing strategy. We have yet to put it all into practice but her encouragement has refreshed our vision for the business and we look forward to working with her again in the future.

I have known Kate for five years she helped with the start-up of our Business www.respect4us.co.uk and became a Patron of the Charitable Trust. In both roles Kate offered sensible advice with a good dose of practical marketing suggestions to help with the survival of a new business that was determined to stay independent. All of this help and advice was given in Kate’s non evasive style easily managing to keep three very different strong minded people to the agenda of any meeting with a smile.
More recently we became involved with the Growth Accelerator and the change the retirement of the Company chair would involve. I personally have benefited from her ability to cut through any doubts or concerns I had. During our meetings I have definitely learnt more about how to market and manage the business more effectively and Kate has been able to link us to someone who has much more expertise in how to get press publicity from her endless bank of contacts.
Kate has shown that she never runs out of suggestions, options, and has the ability to stay aware of what is changing in your business’s field and will contact you if she feels you could benefit from it.
But more importantly Kate has been a great sounding board allowing me through simple conversation to come to conclusions and make decisions I knew needed to make, getting me to put a time frame to decisions and simply being a great support.
In a business world of both genders Kate definitely has a lead on being able to offer sound advice and suggestions that help both people and their business alike in a positive effective way.

Testimony as to how well the plan has been created is the fact that it has taken me over three weeks to post this rating. The plan has been so well received in the past few weeks that the whole "project" is now beginning to move forward as planned, albeit with a few tweaks because of new developments that have arisen because of it, the most common comment from the people who have read it have been about it's simplicity and conciseness, in a nutshell, short, sweet and to the point, no unnecessary padding out or over elaboration just the basic facts of where we want the company to be and how we intend to get there. Thank you for all you time and effort Kate :) Stephen Chadd. Kiss works Ltd.
I wanted to express further my thanks for all I have learned this past few days on your course. I feel I have developed a far better understanding of how complex and in depth some of the areas within setting up a business are. I now realise that with regards to things like marketing I only had the most superficial understanding of both the variety of methods and importance of what I have come to understand is the cornerstone of a solid and successful business. It has also fanned my enthusiasm to push on and be successful with Spreadsheet Wiz With your words of wisdom still ringing in my ears I had a doctors appointment last night and as a part of the conversation I mentioned I was setting up a new business and what it does. With my new mantra “never miss a sales opportunity” still so fresh in my mind I asked the doctor if she needed a spreadsheet, gave her my business card and she is going to contact me in the next week or so to help her set out her own accounts on a spreadsheet. Look forward to seeing you again soon with more success stories to tell you about.
